Our first "Super-Okanagan", first basked in the sun drenched, sage scented slopes of the black sage bench. 85% Sangiovese with a dash of Okanagans most prolific grape thrown in for some balance, results in a wine that is truly unique here and anywhere else.
A wine made specifically with cowboy cuts and Tuscan t-bones in mind. Fresh acidity, gentle tannin, bright red fruits and a savoury, earthy edge make us think of sniffing southern Okanagan wild sage while dining al fresco in a Tuscan villa with Tony Gismondi.
Sometimes you just need a little blood (sanguis) on your plate and this is the wine to help soak it up.
